Our TIOmarkets experience is mixed. On the one hand TIO offers some interesting features (TIOprotect or subscriptions) and on the other hand TIOmarkets is a relatively young unregulated offshore broker. Some traders are deterred by this, others are attracted by the additional features and the high leverage of 1:200. What are the pros & cons of TIOmarkets?
What we like about TIOmarkets
Positive TIOmarkets experiences will, in our opinion, be made by traders with TIOprotect. You can hedge trades with it (for a surcharge) and if they are unsuccessful after 60 minutes, you can simply cancel them. (The principle is similar to the dealCancellation of Easymarkets). The subscription model, where traders pay monthly and receive raw spreads without commissions, is very lucrative, especially for heavy traders. However, this is only worthwhile from 8 lots monthly volume. So if you hardly trade at all, this monthly settlement will be rather negative. The high leverage of 1:200 is of course very interesting for most traders, as 1:30 is usually the only limit in the EU. Bonus promotions are often offered by TIOmarkets. Currently, a cashback and deposit bonus is being advertised on TIOx.

What we dislike about TIOmarkets
Negative TIOmarkets experiences will be made by some traders with the lack of service hotline. In addition, TIOmarkets has no service office in Germany or other major EU countries. TIO is a young brokerage house and has been on the market since 2019. Some traders are deterred by this and the lack of regulation.

TIOmarkets is still a young offshore broker and was only founded in 2019. Therefore, we have not yet had much experience with TIOmarkets itself. Since its foundation, TIO has experienced rapid growth and already offers over 14 languages. The offer is primarily aimed at Forex traders but other markets such as commodities, indices, crypto, metals and stocks are also available. Most traders who switch to TIOmarkets mainly switch because of the higher leverage and unique features like the subscription model and trade protection (TIOprotect).
Unique is also the possibility for traders to invest directly in a broker. One can "participate" in TIOmarkets through TIOprime. TIOmarkets has brought TIOx to the market for this purpose. A proprietary crypto currency based on Ethereum that rewards investors by paying them for their investment. It should be noted that this investment is highly speculative and only works if TIOmarkets establishes itself permanently in the market.

The trading software offered by TIOmarkets includes the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and the MetaTrader 5 (MT5). With the MT4 and MT5, TIO offers the most popular Forex trading platforms worldwide. TIOmarkets offers different account types. These are primarily tiered according to deposit. The VIP Black account starts at 1000€, which has RAW spreads and no commissions, but requires monthly contributions of 49.95€. TIOprotect is also only available in the VIP Black account. The Signature account is intended for TIOx investors, but all customers who have an account larger than 1000€ are probably best off with the VIP Black account.
